• Calcium Chloride: While a little more expensive, this option is best for colder temperatures ( down to -25 degrees F)
• Confirm that the spreader you're using can spread your salt of choice
• Do not use salt if it is wet. Also use dry salt to insure effectiveness and to avoid any clumping or clogs in your spreader.
